Um… Ok!
So,
The Engineer cannot defeat Porygon in its state right now; still in its infancy stage. To get away, yeah, The Engineer sends viruses to distract Porygon while The Engineer warps away. Porygon has to fight this threat and try to find The Engineer before its power becomes too much to handle.
